Our Policies


New Skinsations offers consultations with one of our experienced treatment providers to thoroughly educate you before a decision is made on an aesthetic procedure. Not only does it allow us to get to know you personally, but it also allows us to honestly describe the process and make sure that all of your questions are answered. By discussing the treatment process, you will know what to expect and how your results can be achieved. There is absolutely no pressure during a consultation, and we encourage you to take the time you need to make any decisions. We want you to feel the utmost comfort and confidence in trusting us to deliver the results you desire. If you would like to schedule a consultation, simply call our office to make an appointment or follow the link below to our online consultation request form. Consultations are typically a 30-minute appointment.  We will allow an appropriate amount of time for the consultation based on your needs and what you would like to discuss. We look forward to hearing from you!

During your consultation,

we will provide...
  • A thorough explanation of the treatment process and the science behind it
  • Answers to your questions
  • Discussion of any concerns you may have
  • Revision of your health history as it pertains to the treatment
  • Discussion of how you are currently caring for your skin
  • Information about alternative treatment options (if applicable)
  • Discussion of your improvement goals and your initial expectations
  • Description of the results you can expect to see
  • Recommendation of skincare products to complement your treatment (if applicable)
  • Establish treatment schedule, number of treatments needed, and cost (if applicable)

Did you feel like we didn’t fully answer your questions or give you the information you wanted to know over the phone?

Here’s why…
As you probably know, every person is very different. For many of the services we offer, treatment schedules, results, and other details depend a lot on these individual differences. We do our best to answer your questions over the phone, but until we can actually see you and evaluate the condition of your skin, we are somewhat limited to what we can generalize and guarantee by just simply talking over the phone. We never want you to feel misled or disappointed in any way, and by saving specific answers to certain questions for a consultation, we hope to avoid any confusion. We know that it is often difficult to find time in your busy schedule to visit our office for something you are becoming interested in, but we highly recommend it if you have treatment-specific questions or if you are unsure which treatment/products would be best for you. We would love the opportunity to get to know you and to provide detailed answers to all of your questions as well as appropriate recommendations with regard to you personally. We encourage you to take advantage of a consultation so that we can provide you with realistic expectations and the knowledge to make informed decisions based on your individual needs.

Appointment Scheduling

Although we can sometimes accommodate walk-ins, (and it never hurts to ask us what may be available!) we do ask that you make an appointment in advance for a time that works for you. This way you can specify your preferred date, time, and skincare professional, as we cannot guarantee that someone will be available to perform a procedure on a walk-in basis. Please call our office at 573-659-7546 (SKIN) to schedule an appointment. If after business hours, please leave a voice message stating your name, phone number, and appointment preferences, and we will contact you as soon as possible. Clients are welcome to specify who they prefer to see for their appointment.

If your appointment is for your first laser or aesthetic service, please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to fill out your paperwork.

If you arrive late to your appointment, we will do our very best to accommodate you, but your service may have to be shortened or completely rescheduled.  

If you miss your appointment without giving us any notice, a deposit will be required to reschedule or schedule your next appointment.  We appreciate your understanding.

Appointment Confirmations

About 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, you will receive a text message appointment reminder to the phone number you provided upon scheduling with us. Just let us know if you would also like to receive email reminders in addition to the text message.

Cancellation Policy

We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellation and rescheduling.  If you are not able to make it to your scheduled appointment, please contact our office as soon as possible at 573-659-7546 (SKIN) to let us know.  Last-minute cancellations or rescheduling of appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Select services may require a deposit to schedule. If a deposit is required, you must give at least 48 hours notice for cancellation in order to still apply your deposit to your service.

Payment Methods

Payment is due upon the completion of any service. We accept cash, personal checks, and all major credit cards (Discover, MasterCard, Visa, and American Express). Gift Certificates are also a valid form of payment for both products and services unless specified otherwise.


Gratuities are not necessarily customary for clinical treatments but are often given to show appreciation for spa services such as facial treatments and waxing services. Gratuities are never expected for any service but may be given at your discretion to show your appreciation for exceptional service.

Gift Certificates

Everyone loves to be pampered! Whether it’s a good friend or that special someone, a gift certificate to New Skinsations is perfect for any occasion. Gift Certificates are available in any amount for purchase in the office, as well as over the phone. Gift Certificates may be applied to any products or services of your choice.  There are no refunds on gift certificates once purchased.

In-Office Pick-Up

Call 573-659-7546 (SKIN) or email info@newskinsations.com ahead anytime to request your products! We can prepare your ticket and have your order up front and ready for you to pick up.  We can also look up any item you've purchased from us, so you don't have to always know exactly what you're using.  Pay over the phone or when you come in to pick up your products!


 A referral is an ultimate compliment -- we appreciate your referrals so very much!
