Venus Glow hydradermabrasion treatments are perfect for any skin type and safe for all skin tones!  The Venus Glow HydroFacial treatment is an hour treatment that includes a dermaplane and some relaxation.  Glow+Go treatments (30 minutes) can be done over a lunch break for those who desire a quicker treatment.

For safety reasons, you may not be able to get this treatment if you have/are:
• Any active condition in the treatment area, such as sores, psoriasis, eczema, and rash
• History of skin disorders, keloids, abnormal wound healing, including very dry and fragile skin or very easy bruising
• Any surgical procedure in the treatment area within the last three months or before complete healing
• Superficial metal or other implants in the treatment area
• Inflamed/pustular acne lesions
• Pregnant
• Current condition of any type of cancer, or pre-malignant moles

A hydradermabrasion device infuses the skin with hydration and provides crystal-free exfoliation.  The vacuum gently pulls the skin to open up pores by removing impurities and excel oil.  At the same time, the tip spins 360 degrees to evenly spread the saline coming from two jet streams.  Each jet stream is smaller than the average pore, so they deep-clean the pores well.  The vacuum and spinning tip micro-massage the skin to spread nutrients released from the bloodstream, nourishing the skin for an instant glow.  Medical-grade corrective serums and creams, antioxidants, and moisturizing products will be custom selected and incorporated in the treatment for optimal results.

There is not really anything you need to do to prepare for a Venus Glow hydradermabrasion facial.  Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed before starting this hydrating facial treatment, so no need to worry if you are wearing makeup before your appointment. 

You will feel the gentle suction of the applicator as the tip moves across the skin.  You may also feel the slight coolness as the solution touches your skin.  There is no pain or discomfort associated with this treatment.  The Venus Glow is very comfortable and quite relaxing.

There is absolutely no downtime post-treatment!  The treatment area may look just a little flushed, but this should resolve within the hour.  You’ll notice that your skin will have an instant glow and will look and feel revitalized after the treatment.  You may apply makeup immediately after your treatment.  A broad-spectrum sunscreen will always be applied to the treated area at the end of the treatment if the sun is still out.  Protecting your skin using an SPF 30 or higher broad-spectrum sunscreen should become a permanent component of your long-term daily skincare program.  Daily use of a preventative and corrective at-home skincare regimen is highly recommended for optimal results.

Many clients enjoy the Venus Glow regularly about every 4 to 6 weeks and some clients like to schedule a treatment every 3 months.  However, treatments can be performed as often as once a week.  The actual number of sessions depends on the client, the area to be treated, and the initial condition of the treatment area.  In addition to deep-cleaning the skin, Venus Glow also works to prep skin for other aesthetic and skincare treatments.
